I can't seem to boot from the iso. I'm presented with the efi boot menu which will cycle through the HDD (as expected) but then there it won't read the .iso file.

Have you found a solution ? i'm facing the same issue

      • Cameron Palm

Nope. I had to abandon it as I needed to get Debian up and running. What I did find a couple things others suggested, like there being a specially way to extract the dmg to make it a bootable iso. A few others just installed off of an 8gb Mac is install drive they made with the OS X install utility.

Stuck up during boot up process. Any idea?

    • Seun

Experiencing the same problem here too.

This doesn’t work. It never boots from the DVD. I can burn it and it works, but mounting it does not. I jsut get the VMWare UEFI menu with no working bootable options. And that’s after reinstalling vmware completely because the tools failed without errors the first time around.

    What a mess.
