Session could not be started with iPhone

This error happens during Back up / Sync process. Users will receive an error of “Session could not be started with iPhone” or “iTunes could not back up the iPhone because a session could not be started“. You can solve the problems by the following tips.

Very simple, but out solutions do work on too many users:

  1. You should Restart your iPhone by Turning it off (pressing and holding the Home and the Power buttons for a couple of seconds then drag the slider to Turn Off) and then turn it on again
  2. What should do next if rebooting does not work? Connect your iPhone to iTunes running on PC, Then click on iTunes (at iTune menu bar) —> choose Preferences —> select the Devices tab —> delete all backup items listed here.

This should work.
